Hello, and thank you for visiting our website!
From a band that started with five pipers, one drummer and no uniform in April 2010, we’ve worked hard to achieve what we have done thus far. Some of the band’s highlights to date are having taken part in the Malta Tattoo, having played alongside the Chieftains and the Treorchy Male Voice Choir; these are but to name a few! We pride ourselves on being a homegrown band with a fun vibe but ensuring a professional performance.
We practise at The Wellington Academy Ludgershall every Tuesday, from 1930 to 2200. Our practice structure consists of a chanter and pads practice from 1930 until 2100 and then pipes and drums practice afterwards (during the summer months of May to September, this is reversed).
Our main aims are:
- Most importantly, to have fun
- To promote Scottish and Celtic music
- To improve our individual playing and our ensemble playing.
If that sounds like your type of thing and you want to join a friendly, familial group, then we would love to see you, whether you already play the bagpipes and/or drums or if you simply want to learn! We have the necessary instructors to ensure you get the correct tuition.
We are available for hire for whatever your event may be. Just contact us and someone will reply soon!
